Michael's Vine Yard 2002
Artspace Lifespace and The invisible Circus participated in the temporary regeneration of this sprawling warehouse complex as part of the Regenerarts project, which managed the space on a temporary guardian basis. Back in the projects original home ground of west London the site ran for 2 years housing a wide variety of workshop spaces and training facilities.

The Vine Yards site was in a bad state of disrepair and had been empty for many years. It was about to be sold but had been left vulnerable after illegal salvage and fly tipping activities had left the site unsecured.
The Regenerarts project was established by a mix of 30 individual artists and groups to take on management of the space and the space was managed on a collective basis providing a work space and rehearsal rooms for an extended network of artists.
The project remained as on site security prior, during and after the sale of the site to Phillip Green of London Green Developments.
