A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare; adapted by Amelie Peters, Co-directed by Amelie Peters and Noah Robinson.

Produced by Lottie Shaw, a ShaxSoc Production

“I have had a dream, past the wit of man to say what dream it was”

Four young lovers flee Athens. A warring King and Queen reign over an enchanted fairy kingdom. A group of amateur actors torn up in chaos and confusion, the lines between reality and illusion start to blur… A bold, electric re-telling of the classic play, bringing a queer and gender bending lens to the comedy.

Join us for a production of chaos, madness and love at The Island Gallery, 14th-16th December. Showtimes: 14th – 7:30 – 10pm, 15th – 7:30- 10pm, 16th – 2:00 – 4:30pm & 7:30-10pm
